Vikings: War of Clans is a 3D free-to-play browser based strategy game developed and published by Plarium. Originally developed for mobile devices, the game is now available on PC. It is a multiplayer game in which player form their own clans, train troops and build their society. In Vikings, players can team up into clans of 100 people in order to achieve goals and help each other. They can also work together to obtain the resources necessary to maintain buildings and upgrade troops. Players are separated geographically into different locations known as kingdoms with each kingdom housing around 45,000 players. As one might expect from the name Vikings is based on Scandinavian history, with the developers taking their lead from TV shows and movies as well as other sources containing information on Scandinavian culture.
