Stormgate is a free-to-play science fantasy real-time strategy game in which humans and robots defend Earth from alien forces. Developed and published by Frost Giant Studios – a studio made up of former members of Blizzard’s defunct RTS team – pits Earth against demonic invaders and their angelic opponents. The game features three different modes: co-op, ranked, and a 3v3 mode with a no-elimination policy. The game’s story-driven campaign puts players in the role of heroes fighting to determine the fate of the world. The Vanguard prologue chapter is available for free, while other chapters will be available for purchase. It’s built on Unreal Engine 5 and uses Frost Giant’s proprietary “SnowPlay” technology.
