What happens when you take the vinyl collectible toy experience and combine it with an open-world multiplayer game? You get Blankos Block Party, a free-to-play game that allows players to build their own block parties – which are like Mario Party-style activities – to share with their friends. Players can even participate in regular competitions held by the developer Mythical Games, for a chance to see their builds featured. In addition to the block party builds, the game’s other focus is on the Blankos, vinyl-style “dolls” brought to life. Just like with real world vinyl dolls, these are collectible and can be bought and sold. Just like with real-world collectables, Blankos Block Party features limited edition vinyls, including some players can win or those that are available as part of seasonal events. The Blankos in question are designed by popular vinyl toy artists like Jon-Paul Kaiser, Tara McPherson, Kronk, and Dan Lish.
